[Machine] "Abu Mahdhurah had a story at the front of his head. Whenever he sat, he would send it to reach the earth. They said to him, 'Why don't you remove it?' He said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiped his hand over it, so I did not remove it until I die.' He did not remove it until he died." (Al-Dhahabi did not mention this in his summary)
أَنَّ أَبَا مَحْذُورَةَ كَانَتْ لَهُ قُصَّةٌ فِي مُقَدَّمِ رَأْسِهِ إِذَا قَعَدَ أَرْسَلَهَا فَتَبْلُغُ الْأَرْضَ فَقَالُوا لَهُ أَلَا تَحْلِقُهَا؟ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَسَحَ عَلَيْهَا بِيَدِهِ فَلَمْ أَكُنْ لِأَحْلِقَهَا حَتَّى أَمُوتَ» فَلَمْ يَحْلِقْهَا حَتَّى مَاتَسكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
