[Machine] I heard Al-Abbas saying, "I was with the Prophet ﷺ one night, and he said to me, 'Look at the sky.' So I looked, and he asked, 'Do you see anything in the sky?' I replied, 'Yes.' He asked, 'What do you see?' I said, 'The Pleiades (a cluster of stars).' He said, 'Verily, He owns this Ummah (nation) by its number from your descendants.'"  

الحاكم:٥٤١٤ – حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْخُ الْإِمَامُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ فِي آخَرِينَ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي قُرَّةَ ثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي قَبِيلٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَيْسَرَةَ مَوْلَى الْعَبَّاسِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ الْعَبَّاسَ يَقُولُ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ فَقَالَ لِي «انْظُرْ فِي السَّمَاءِ» فَنَظَرْتُ فَقَالَ «هَلْ تَرَى فِي السَّمَاءِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ؟» قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ «مَا تَرَى؟» قُلْتُ الثُّرَيَّا فَقَالَ «أَمَا إِنَّهُ يَمْلِكُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ بِعَدَدِهَا مِنْ صُلْبِكَ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي قُرَّةَ عَنِ اللَّيْثِ وَإِمَامُنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ لَوْ لَمْ يَرْضَهُ لَمَّا حَدَّثَ عَنْهُ بِمِثْلِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ لم يصح هذا

[Machine] I was with the Prophet ﷺ one night, and he said, "Look, do you see any star in the sky?" I said, "Yes." He said, "What do you see?" I said, "I see the Pleiades." He said, "Verily, it is following this Ummah (nation) with its number from your lineage, and two of them will be in a fitnah (trial or turmoil)."
