[Machine] "They indeed struck the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until he fainted. Abu Bakr stood up and started calling out, saying, 'Woe to you! Are you killing a man just because he says, 'My Lord is Allah?' They asked, 'Who is this?' He said, 'He is the son of Abu Quhafa, the madman.'"

الحاكم:٤٤٢٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

لَقَدْ ضَرَبُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَتَّى غُشِيَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَامَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَجَعَلَ يُنَادِي وَيَقُولُ وَيْلَكُمْ أَتَقْتُلُونَ رَجُلًا أَنْ يَقُولَ رَبِّي اللَّهُ؟ قَالُوا مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا هَذَا ابْنُ أَبِي قُحَافَةَ الْمَجْنُونُ

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرط مسلم

"عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: ضَرَبَ الْمُشْرِكُون رَسُولَ الله ﷺ حَتَّى غُشِىَ عَلَيْهِ، فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ: سبحَانَ الله أَتَقْتُلُونَ رَجُلًا أَنْ يَقُولَ رَبِّىَ الله؟ ! فَقَالُوا: مَنْ هَذَا؟ قِيلَ: ابْنُ أَبِى قُحَافَةَ الْمجْنُونُ".
