Nothing is better than the gift of patience

that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say, “A servant ˹of God˺ is not provided a thing better and more expansive for him than patience.”   

الحاكم:٣٥٥٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ الْجَلَّابُ بِهَمْدَانَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ الْخَرَّازُ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَالِكَ بْنَ أَنَسٍ وَتَلَا قَوْلَ اللَّهِ ﷻ {وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُوا} [السجدة 24] فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَا رُزِقَ عَبْدٌ خَيْرًا لَهُ وَلَا أَوْسَعَ مِنَ الصَّبْرِ»  

قَدِ اتَّفَقَ الشَّيْخَانِ عَلَى إِخْرَاجِ هَذِهِ اللَّفْظَةِ فِي آخِرِ حَدِيثِهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ أَنَّ نَاسًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ سَأَلُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْحَدِيثُ بِطُولِهِ وَفِي آخِرِهِ هَذِهِ اللَّفْظَةُ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ بِهَذِهِ السِّيَاقَةَ الَّتِي عِنْدَ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ (على شرط البخاري ومسلم)
