[Machine] "Some people came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what is permissible for us from this nation that you commanded us to kill?' They meant the dogs. So Allah ﷻ revealed the verse: 'They ask you, [O Muhammad], what has been made lawful for them.'"  

جَاءَ نَاسٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا يَحِلُّ لَنَا مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ الَّتِي أَمَرْتَ بِقَتْلِهَا؟ يَعْنِي الْكِلَابَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ} الْآيَةَ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to kill the dogs, so the people said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is permissible for us from this nation that you have ordered to be killed?" So Allah revealed, "{They ask you, [O Muhammad], what has been made lawful for them. Say, 'Lawful for you are [all] good foods and [game caught by] what you have trained of hunting animals which you train as Allah has taught you.}" [Al-Ma'idah 4]  

أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا أُحِلَّ لَنَا مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ الَّتِي أَمَرْتَ بِقَتْلِهَا؟ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا أُحِلَّ لَهُمْ قُلْ أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ وَمَا عَلَّمْتُمْ مِنَ الْجَوَارِحِ مُكَلِّبِينَ} [المائدة 4]
