[Machine] "There were three things that used to be repeated during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, until they became just one. He said, 'Yes'."  

الحاكم:٢٧٩٢ – أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ الْقَنْطَرِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا الْجَوْزَاءِ أَتَى ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ أَتَعْلَمُ

أَنَّ ثَلَاثًا كُنَّ يُرْدَدْنَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى وَاحِدَةٍ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ ابن المؤمل ضعفوه

"O Ibn 'Abbas! Did you not know that the threefold divorce during the time of the Messenger of Allah and Abu Bakr, and during the early part of 'Umar's Caliphate, used to be counted as one divorce?" He said: "Yes."  

النسائي:٣٤٠٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سَيْفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ أَبَا الصَّهْبَاءِ جَاءَ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ يَا ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ

أَنَّ الثَّلاَثَ كَانَتْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَصَدْرًا مِنْ خِلاَفَةِ عُمَرَ ؓ تُرَدُّ إِلَى الْوَاحِدَةِ قَالَ نَعَمْ
