ذِكْرُ وَصْفِ عُقُوبَةِ أَقْوَامٍ مِنْ أَجْلِ أَعْمَالٍ ارْتَكَبُوهَا، أُرِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِيَّاهَا

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "While I was sleeping, two men came to me and took hold of my upper arms. They brought me to a rugged mountain and said to me, 'Ascend until you reach the top of this mountain.' When I reached the top, I heard a loud voice. I asked, 'What is this noise?' They said, 'This is the howling of the people of Hell.' Then, they took me farther and I saw people hanging from their ankles and their mouths bleeding. I asked, 'Who are these people?' It was said, 'These are the ones who break their fast before it is time to do so.' Then, they took me and I saw a group of people whose skin was peeling off and their stench was unbearable. I asked, 'Who are these people?' It was said, 'These are the adulterers and fornicators.' Then, they took me and I saw women whose breasts were being torn apart by snakes. I asked, 'What is happening to these women?' It was said, 'These are the women who prevent their children from breastfeeding.' Then, they took me and I saw young boys playing between two rivers. I asked, 'Who are these boys?' It was said, 'These are the righteous offspring.' Then, I was honored with great honor. I saw three men drinking from a wine-filled cup. I asked, 'Who are these men?' They said, 'These are Ibrahim, Musa, and 'Isa, and they are waiting for you.'"  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «بَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ إِذْ أَتَانِي رَجُلَانِ فَأَخَذَا بِضَبْعَيَّ فَأَتَيَا بِي جَبَلًا وَعْرًا فَقَالَا لِي اصْعَدْ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنْتُ فِي سَوَاءِ الْجَبَلِ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِصَوْتٍ شَدِيدٍ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ الْأَصْوَاتُ؟ قَالَ هَذَا عُوَاءُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي فَإِذَا أَنَا بِقَوْمٍ مُعَلَّقِينَ بِعَرَاقِيبِهِمْ مُشَقَّقَةٍ أَشْدَاقُهُمْ تَسِيلُ أَشْدَاقُهُمْ دَمًا فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ فَقِيلَ هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ يُفْطِرُونَ قَبْلَ تَحِلَّةِ صَوْمِهِمْ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي فَإِذَا بِقَوْمٍ أَشَدِّ شَيْءٍ انْتِفَاخًا وَأَنْتَنِهِ رِيحًا وَأَسْوَئِهِ مَنْظَرًا فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ قِيلَ الزَّانُونَ وَالزَّوَانِي ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي فَإِذَا بِنِسَاءٍ تَنْهَشُ ثَدْيَهُنَّ الْحَيَّاتُ قُلْتُ مَا بَالُ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قِيلَ هَؤُلَاءِ اللَّاتِي يَمْنَعْنَ أَوْلَادَهُنَّ أَلْبَانَهُنَّ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي فَإِذَا أَنَا بِغِلْمَانٍ يَلْعَبُونَ بَيْنَ نَهْرَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ فَقِيلَ هَؤُلَاءِ ذَرَارِيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ثُمَّ شَرَفَ بِي شَرَفًا فَإِذَا أَنَا بِثَلَاثَةٍ يَشْرَبُونَ مِنْ خَمْرٍ لَهُمْ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالُوا هَذَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ وَمُوسَى وَعِيسَى وَهُمْ يَنْتَظِرُونَكَ»  

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying that while I was asleep, two men came to me and took hold of my upper arm and brought me to a rugged mountain. They told me to climb, but I said that I was not able to. They assured me that they would make it easy for me, so I started climbing until I reached a point on the mountain where I could hear extremely loud noises. I asked, "What are these noises?" They replied, "These are the screams of the people of Hell." Then they took me further until I saw people hung by their hamstrings with their jaws torn apart and their blood flowing. I asked, "Who are these people?" They replied, "These are the ones who break their fast before it is time to do so."
