[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered loudly from the belly of Makkah, proclaiming that the Zakat al-Fitr is an obligatory duty upon every Muslim, whether young or old, male or female, free or slave, present or absent. It is to be given in a measure of barley or dates.  

الحاكم:١٤٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْوَرَّاقُ وَلَقَبُهُ حَمْدَانُ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبَّادٍ وَكَانَ مِنْ خِيَارِ النَّاسِ ثنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَمَرَ صَارِخًا بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ يُنَادِي إِنَّ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ حَقٌّ وَاجِبٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ صَغِيرٍ أَوْ كَبِيرٍ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى حُرٍّ أَوْ مَمْلُوكٍ حَاضِرٍ أَوْ بَادٍ صَاعٌ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ أَوْ تَمْرٍ  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ بِهَذِهِ الْأَلْفَاظِ»

"إِنَّ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطرِ حَقّ وَاجبٌ على كُلِّ مسلِم، صغيرٍ أَو كبيرٍ، ذَكَر أو أُنثى، حُرِّ أوْ مَمْلُوكٍ، حَاضِرٍ أَو باد، صاعٌ من شعيرٍ أو تمر".
