People are ˹of two types˺: the scholar and the student, and between that is ignorance, with no goodness in it.  

الدارمي:٣٣٢أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ قَالَ

«النَّاسُ عَالِمٌ وَمُتَعَلِّمٌ وَمَا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ هَمَجٌ لَا خَيْرَ فِيهِ»
