(the wife of the Prophet ﷺ I used to scent Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he wanted to assume Ihram and also on finishing Ihram before the Tawaf round the Kaʿba (Tawaf-al-ifada).

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أُطَيِّبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لإِحْرَامِهِ حِينَ يُحْرِمُ وَلِحِلِّهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ

I heard my father who was the best man of his age, saying, "I heard ʿAisha saying, 'I perfumed Allah's Apostle with my own hands before finishing his Ihram while yet he has not performed Tawaf-al- Ifada.' She spread her hands (while saying so.)"

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ وَكَانَ أَفْضَلَ أَهْلِ زَمَانِهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ ؓ تَقُولُ طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِيَدَىَّ هَاتَيْنِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ حِينَ أَحَلَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ وَبَسَطَتْ يَدَيْهَا

I applied perfume to the Prophet ﷺ with my own hands when he wanted to assume the state of Ihram, and I also perfumed him at Mina before he departed from there (to perform Tawaf-al-Ifada).

طَيَّبْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِيَدِي لِحُرْمِهِ وَطَيَّبْتُهُ بِمِنًى قَبْلَ أَنْ يُفِيضَ

I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ before he entered upon the state of lhram and (concluding) before circumambulating the (sacred) House.

طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِحُرْمِهِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ

I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with my own hand before he entered upon the state of Ihram, and as he concluded it before circumambulating the House (for Tawaf-i-lfada).

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِيَدِي لِحُرْمِهِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ حِينَ أَحَلَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ

"I put perfume on the Messenger of Allah for his Ihram before he entered Ihram, and for his exiting Ihram when he exited Ihram.''

طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لإِحْرَامِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ حِينَ أَحَلَّ

"I put perfume on the Messenger of Allah for his Ihram when he entered Ihram, and for his exiting Ihram when he had stoned Jamrat Al-Aqabah, before he circumambulated the House.''

طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِحُرْمِهِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ بَعْدَ مَا رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ

[AI] I heard Aisha say, "I perfumed the Prophet of Allah ﷺ with these two hands of mine when he entered ihram (the state of consecration for Hajj pilgrimage), and I also perfumed him before he began the tawaf (circumambulation of the Kaaba)."

سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِيَدَيَّ هَاتَيْنِ لِحُرْمِهِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ

"I put perfume on the Messenger of Allah for his Ihram before he entered Ihram, and for his exiting Ihram when he exited Ihram.'' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2686)

طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لِإِحْرَامِهِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ حِينَ أَحَلَّ بِمِنًى قَبْلَ أَنْ يُفِيضَ

[AI] I purified the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Mina before he visited the house.

طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِمِنًى قَبْلَ أَنْ يَزُورَ الْبَيْتَ

"I put perfume on the Messenger of Allah for his Ihram when he entered Ihram, and for his exiting Ihram when he had stoned Jamrat Al-Aqabah, before he circumambulated the House.'' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2685)

طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لِحُرْمِهِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ حِينَ أَحَلَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ

[AI] Aisha purified the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for ihram and when he was in the state of ihram, and she purified him when he made it lawful before he circumambulated the Kaaba or went on pilgrimage to the house.

عَائِشَةُ طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لِحِلِّهِ وَحُرْمِهِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ حِينَ أَحَلَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُفِيضَ أَوْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ

[AI] Aisha said, "I perfumed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with Tayyib perfume in Mina before he visited the Ka'bah."

عَائِشَةُ «طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ مِنًى قَبْلَ أَنْ يَزُورَ الْبَيْتَ»

[AI] "I shook the hand of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ before he passed away."

«طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِيَدِي قَبْلَ أَنْ يُفِيضَ»

[AI] I heard Aisha saying, "I perfumed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for his Ihram and I perfumed myself with him in Mina before he began to flow (with sweat)."

سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ «طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لِحَرَمِهِ وَطَيَّبْتُهُ بِمِنًى قَبْلَ أَنْ يُفِيضَ»
