[Machine] My grandfather told me that the Prophet ﷺ wiped his head and said, "Do not apply kohl during the day when you are fasting. Apply kohl at night with antimony, as it clears the vision and promotes hair growth." Abu Muhammad said, "I do not see any harm in using kohl."  

الدارمي:١٧٧٤أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي

عَنْ جَدِّي وَكَانَ جَدِّي قَدْ أُتِيَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَقَالَ «لَا تَكْتَحِلْ بِالنَّهَارِ وَأَنْتَ صَائِمٌ اكْتَحِلْ لَيْلًا بِالْإِثْمِدِ فَإِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعَرَ» قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد «لَا أَرَى بِالْكُحْلِ بَأْسًا»
