Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a silver ring and had 'Muhammad, the Apostle' of Allah' engraved on it. The Prophet then said (to us), 'I have a silver ring with 'Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah engraved on it, so none of you should have the same engraving on his ring."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ اتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَنَقَشَ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَقَالَ إِنِّي اتَّخَذْتُ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ وَنَقَشْتُ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَلاَ يَنْقُشَنَّ أَحَدٌ عَلَى نَقْشِهِ
Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Apostle ﷺ had made for him a silver ring. and got engraved on it (Muhammad, Messenger of Allah) and said to the people I have got made a ring of silver and engraved in it (these words) (Muhammad, Messenger of Allah). So none should engrave these (words) like this engravement.
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّوسلم اتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَنَقَشَ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَقَالَ لِلنَّاسِ إِنِّي اتَّخَذْتُ خَاتَمًا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَنَقَشْتُ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَلاَ يَنْقُشْ أَحَدٌ عَلَى نَقْشِهِ
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ wore a ring of silver, then he had engraved on it (the words) ‘Muhammad Rasul Allah’ (Muhammad the Messenger of Allah). And he said: ‘No one should have his ring engraved like this ring of mine.’”
اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ ثُمَّ نَقَشَ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ لاَ يَنْقُشْ أَحَدٌ عَلَى نَقْشِ خَاتَمِي هَذَا
[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had a silver ring engraved with the inscription "Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah." He said, "I have taken a silver ring and engraved on it 'Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah.' So do not engrave anything on it."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ اتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَنَقَشَ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنِّي قَدْ اتَّخَذْتُ خَاتَمًا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَنَقَشْتُ فِيهِ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ فَلَا تَنْقُشُوا عَلَيْهِ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a ring and engraved a design on it, then he said, "Indeed, I have taken a ring and engraved a design on it, so let no one engrave over its design."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ اتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا وَنَقَشَ فِيهِ نَقْشًا فَقَالَ إِنِّي اتَّخَذْتُ خَاتَمًا وَنَقَشْتُ فِيهِ نَقْشًا فَلَا يَنْقُشْ أَحَدٌ عَلَى نَقْشِهِ
Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a silver ring and had 'Muhammad, the Apostle' of Allah' engraved on it. The Prophet then said (to us), 'I have a silver ring with 'Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah engraved on it, so none of you should have the same engraving on his ring." "إِنِّى قَدِ اتَّخَذْتُ خَاتِمًا مِنْ فِضَّة ونَقَشْتُ (عَلَيْهِ) "مُحَمّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ" فَلَا يَنْقُشَنَّ أحَدٌ عَلَى نَقْشِهِ" .
