The Prophet ﷺ in his ailment in which he died, used to say, "O ʿAisha! I still feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and at this time, I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison."
عَائِشَةُ ؓ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ يَا عَائِشَةُ مَا أَزَالُ أَجِدُ أَلَمَ الطَّعَامِ الَّذِي أَكَلْتُ بِخَيْبَرَ فَهَذَا أَوَانُ وَجَدْتُ انْقِطَاعَ أَبْهَرِي مِنْ ذَلِكَ السَّمِّ
[Machine] Aisha used to say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say during the illness in which he passed away, 'O Aisha, I feel the pain of the food that I ate at Khaybar. This is the time when the aorta will be severed from that poison.'"
عُرْوَةُ كَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ تَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ «يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنِّي أَجِدُ أَلَمَ الطَّعَامِ الَّذِي أَكَلْتُهُ بِخَيْبَرَ فَهَذَا أَوَانُ انْقِطَاعِ أَبْهَرِي مِنْ ذَلِكَ السُّمِّ»
[Machine] Aisha said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say during the illness in which he passed away, 'Oh Aisha, I feel the pain of the food that I ate in Khaibar. This is the time when the aorta from that poison is being cut off.'"
كَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ ؓ تَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنِّي أَجِدُ أَلَمَ الطَّعَامِ الَّذِي أَكَلْتُ بِخَيْبَرَ فَهَذَا أَوَانُ انْقِطَاعِ أَبْهَرِي مِنْ ذَلِكَ السُّمِّ
مرضه تعني النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يا عائشة لم أزل أجد ألم الطعام الذي أكلت بخيبر فهذا أوان وجدت انقطع أبهري من ذلك السموَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ يُونُسَ إلا عنبسة حدثنا أحمد قال
"يَا عَائِشَةُ: مَا أَزَالُ أَجِدُ أَلمَ الطَّعَام الَّذِي أكَلتُ بِخَيْبَر، فَهَذَا أَوَانُ وَجَدْتُ انْقِطَاعَ أَبْهَرِي مِنْ ذَلِكَ السُّمِّ".
