The following Holy Verse:-- "These two opponents (believers and disbelievers) dispute with each other about their Lord." (22.19) was revealed concerning us.  

البخاري:٣٩٦٧ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الصَّوَّافُ حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ كَانَ يَنْزِلُ فِي بَنِي ضُبَيْعَةَ وَهْوَ مَوْلًى لِبَنِي سَدُوسَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عُبَادٍ قَالَ قَالَ

عَلِيٌّ ؓ فِينَا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ {هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ }

[Machine] This verse descended upon us on the day of Badr, "These two opponents have disputed regarding their Lord." [Surah Al-Hajj 19]

[Machine] Abu Dharr said about this verse "These two opponents disputed about their Lord" [Surah Al-Hajj, verse 19]: It was revealed about those who competed with each other.
