The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah says, 'I will be against three persons on the Day of Resurrection: -1. One who makes a covenant in My Name, but he proves treacherous. -2. One who sells a free person (as a slave) and eats the price, -3. And one who employs a laborer and gets the full work done by him but does not pay him his wages.' "

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ اللَّهُ ثَلاَثَةٌ أَنَا خَصْمُهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ رَجُلٌ أَعْطَى بِي ثُمَّ غَدَرَ وَرَجُلٌ بَاعَ حُرًّا فَأَكَلَ ثَمَنَهُ وَرَجُلٌ اسْتَأْجَرَ أَجِيرًا فَاسْتَوْفَى مِنْهُ وَلَمْ يُعْطِ أَجْرَهُ

(Allah (SWT) says:) “I am the opponent of three on the Day of Resurrection, and if I am someone's opponent I will defeat him: A man who makes promises in My Name, then proves treacherous; a man who sells a free man and consumes his price; and a man who hires a worker, makes use to him, then does not give him his wages.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثَلاَثَةٌ أَنَا خَصْمُهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ كُنْتُ خَصْمَهُ خَصَمْتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ رَجُلٌ أَعْطَى بِي ثُمَّ غَدَرَ وَرَجُلٌ بَاعَ حُرًّا فَأَكَلَ ثَمَنَهُ وَرَجُلٌ اسْتَأْجَرَ أَجِيرًا فَاسْتَوْفَى مِنْهُ وَلَمْ يُوفِهِ أَجْرَهُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «ثَلَاثَةٌ أَنَا خَصْمُهُمْ فِي الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ كُنْتُ خَصْمَهُ أَخْصِمْهُ رَجُلٌ أَعْطَى بِي ثُمَّ غَدَرَ وَرَجُلٌ بَاعَ حُرًّا فَأَكَلَ ثَمَنَهُ وَرَجُلٌ اسْتَأْجَرَ أَجِيرًا فَاسْتَوْفَى مِنْهُ وَلَمْ يُوفِهِ أَجْرَهُ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah has mentioned three individuals whom I will be their opponent on the Day of Judgment. As for the person I was his opponent, he was a man whom I gave something to and then he betrayed me. Another person sold a free person, and he consumed the price. And a third person hired a worker, took full work from him, and did not pay him. 11658 And Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz told us, narrating from Abu Qutaybah Salamah bin Al-Fadl Al-Adami in Makkah, narrating from Al-Hasan bin Ali bin Shabeeb Al-Ma'mari, narrating from Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Sabiq, narrating from Yahya bin Sulaim, who mentioned it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ ثَلَاثَةٌ أَنَا خَصْمُهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ كُنْتُ خَصْمَهُ خَصَمْتُهُ رَجُلٌ أُعْطِيَ بِي ثُمَّ غَدَرَ وَرَجُلٌ بَاعَ حُرًّا فَأَكَلَ ثَمَنَهُ وَرَجُلٌ اسْتَأْجَرَ أَجِيرًا اسْتَوْفَى مِنْهُ وَلَمْ يُوفِهِ 11658 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْآدَمِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَبِيبٍ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَابِقٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ فَذَكَرَهُ

"ثَلَاثَةٌ أَنَا خصمُهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيامة وَمَنْ كُنْتُ خصْمَهُ خصَمْتُهُ: رَجُلٌ أَعْطَى بِى ثُمَّ غدَرَ، ورُجُلٌ بَاعَ حُرًا فأَكَل ثَمنهُ، وَرَجُلٌ اسْتأجَرَ أَجيرًا فَاسْتَوْفى مِنْهُ ولَمْ يُوَفِه".

"قَال اللهُ ﷻ ثَلاثَة أنا خَصمُهُم يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ: رَجُل أعطَى بِى ثُمَّ غَدَرَ، وَرَجُل بَاعَ حُرا فأكَلَ ثَمَنَهُ، وَرَجُل اسْتأجَرَ أجِيرًا فَاسْتَوْفَى مِنْهُ وَلَم يُعطِيهِ أجْرَهُ".
