97. Tawḥīd (Oneness of Allah)

٩٧۔ كتاب التوحيد

97.21 “Say ‘What thing is the most great in witness?’ Say: ‘Allah…’”

٩٧۔٢١ باب {قُلْ أَىُّ شَىْءٍ أَكْبَرُ شَهَادَةً قُلِ اللَّهُ}

"Allah has described Himself as an entity. The Prophet ﷺ also described the Quran as an entity, and it is one of the attributes of Allah. And he said: 'Everything will perish except His face.'"

وَسَمَّى اللَّهُ تَعَالَى نَفْسَهُ شَيْئًا. وَسَمَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْقُرْآنَ شَيْئًا وَهْوَ صِفَةٌ مِنْ صِفَاتِ اللَّهِ. وَقَالَ: {كُلُّ شَيْءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلاَّ وَجْهَهُ}.

The Prophet ﷺ said to a man, "Have you got anything of the Qur'an?" The man said, "Yes, such-andsuch Sura, and such-and-such Sura," naming the Suras.  

البخاري:٧٤١٧حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِرَجُلٍ أَمَعَكَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ شَىْءٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ سُورَةُ كَذَا وَسُورَةُ كَذَا لِسُوَرٍ سَمَّاهَا
