[Machine] He used to come to Al-Jimar for three days after the day of sacrifice, going and coming, and inform them that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do the same.  

البيهقي:٩٥٥٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحُرْفِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا حَمْزَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَأْتِي الْجِمَارَ فِي الْأَيَّامِ الثَّلَاثَةِ بَعْدَ يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ مَاشِيًا ذَاهِبًا وَرَاجِعًا وَيُخْبِرُهُمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ 9559 وَكَذَلِكَ  

رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ فِي السُّنَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيِّ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ ابْنُ دَاسَةَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ فَذَكَرَهُ وَرَوَاهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَعَمِّهِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ قَوْلَهُ فِي الْأَيَّامِ الثَّلَاثَةِ وَلَيْسَ فِي رِوَايَةِ الْأَشْيَبِ أَيْضًا تَنْصِيصٌ عَلَى الثَّلَاثَةِ وَقَدْ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ يُشْبِهُ إِذَا رَمَى يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ رَاكِبًا لِاتِّصَالِ رُكُوبِهِ مِنَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ أَنْ يَرْمِيَ يَوْمَ النَّفْرِ رَاكِبًا لِاتِّصَالِ رُكُوبِهِ بِالصَّدْرِ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَهَذَا قَوْلُ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ

He (ibn Umar) used to come (to Mina) and threw pebbles three days after the day of sacrifice walking when arriving and returning (both ways). He reported that the Prophet ﷺ used to do so.
