[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to throw the pebbles at Al-Aqaba while riding his camel, saying the Takbeer with each pebble. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when these days, referring to the days of Tashreeq, came, the Prophet ﷺ would go to Mina on foot, both while going and returning, and he mentioned that the Prophet ﷺ used to do this.  

البيهقي:٩٥٥٧أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ ثنا الْعُمَرِيُّ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَرْمِي جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ يُكَبِّرُ مَعَ كُلِّ حَصَاةٍ وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ كَانَ إِذَا كَانَ هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامُ يَعْنِي أَيَّامَ التَّشْرِيقِ أَتَاهَا مَاشِيًا ذَاهِبًا وَرَاجِعًا وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ
