regarding the hadith of Asmā’ bt. ‘Umays when she gave birth at Dhū al-Ḥulayfah— it is mentioned that the Prophet ﷺ ordered Abū Bakr to instruct her to bathe and to enter into the state of ihrām.

البيهقي:٨٩٤٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكَعْبِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو زُنَيْجٌ ثنا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

فِي حَدِيثِ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ ؓ حِينَ نَفِسَتْ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ أَنَّ النبي ﷺ أَمَرَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ ؓ يَأْمُرُهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ وَتُهِلَّ

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي غَسَّانَ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ هَذَا هُوَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ وَقَدْ مَضَى حَدِيثُ حَاتِمِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ بِطُولِهِ فِي هَذَا وَفِي غَيْرِهِ
