[AI] Asmāʾ bint ʿUmays gave birth to Muḥammad ibn Abī Bakr, so the Messenger of God ﷺ commanded Abū Bakr to perform a ritual bath and to enter into iḥrām. This is the wording of the ḥadīth of al-Rūdhbārī; and in the ḥadīth of Abū ʿAbd Allāh: the Messenger of God ﷺ commanded Abū Bakr to order her to perform a ritual bath and to enter into iḥrām.

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَهَنَّادِ بْنِ السَّرِيِّ وَزُهَيْرِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ وَرَوَاهُ مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ مُرْسَلًا دُونَ ذِكْرِ عَائِشَةَ ؓ وَرَوَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ ؓ أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ حَاجًّا ثُمَّ ذَكَرَهُ وَجَوَّدَهُ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهُوَ حَافِظٌ ثِقَةٌ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
