[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Verily, the world is sweet and green, and Allah has made you successors in it to see how you will behave. So beware of the world and the temptation of women."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ وَإِنَّ اللهَ مُسْتَخْلِفُكُمْ فِيهَا فَنَاظِرٌ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ فَاتَّقُوا الدُّنْيَا وَفِتْنَةَ النِّسَاءِ
The world is sweet and green (alluring) and Allah has placed you all as successors on it in order to see how you act. So, protect yourself from ˹alluring deceptions˺ in this world and protect yourself from ˹the temptations˺ of women: in fact, the first trial for the people of Isrāʾīl was because of women.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا حُلْوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مُسْتَخْلِفُكُمْ فِيهَا، فَيَنْظُرُ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ۔ فَاتَّقُوا الدُّنْيَا، وَاتَّقُوا النِّسَاءَ: فَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ فِتْنَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كَانَتْ فِي النِّسَاءِ۔»
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "Indeed, the world is lush and sweet, and Allah has made you successors in it, to see how you behave. So beware of the world and beware of women, for the first temptation of the Children of Israel was caused by women, as it is mentioned in the hadith of Ghundar."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ وَإِنَّ اللهَ مُسْتَخْلِفُكُمْ فِيهَا لِيَنْظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ فَاتَّقُوا الدُّنْيَا وَاتَّقُوا النِّسَاءَ فَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ فِتْنَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كَانَتْ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ غُنْدَرٍ
The world is sweet and green (alluring) and verily Allah is going to install you as vicegerent in it in order to see how you act. So avoid the allurement of women: verily, the first trial for the people of Isra'il was caused by women. And in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn Bashshar the words are:" So that He should see how you act." (Using translation from Muslim 2742)
"إِنَّ الدنيا حُلوةٌ خَضِرَةٌ، وإنَّ الله مستخلفكم فيها، فناظرٌ كيف تعملون، فاتقوا الدنيا. واتَّقُوا النساءَ، فإِنَّ أَوَّلَ فتنةِ بنى إِسرائيل كانت فِي النساءِ".
"إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا حُلوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ، وإنَّ الله مُسْتَخْلِفُكُمْ فيها فَنَاظِرٌ كَيفَ تَعْمَلُونَ، فاحْذروا الدُّنْيَا، واحْذروا النِّسَاءَ، ألَا وَإِنَّ لِكُلِّ غَادِر لِوَاءً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عنْدَ اسْتِهِ ".
"يَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ: الدُّنْيَا حُلوَةٌ خَضِرَةٌ، وَإِنَّ الله -تَعَالَى- مُسْتَخْلِفُكُمْ فَنَاظِرٌ كيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ، أَلاَ فَاتَّقُوا الدُّنْيَا واتَّقُوا النِّسَاءَ".
