[Machine] When we used to learn from the Prophet ﷺ , if we learned ten verses from the Quran, we would not learn any verses that were revealed after them until we understood the meaning. It was said to a partner in action, "Yes."
كُنَّا إِذَا تَعَلَّمْنَا مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَشْرَ آيَاتٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ لَمْ نَتَعَلَّمْ مِنَ الْعَشْرِ الَّتِي نَزَلَتْ بَعْدَهَا حَتَّى نَعْلَمَ مَا فِيهِ قِيلَ لِشَرِيكٍ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ
[Machine] "When we used to learn ten verses from the Quran from the Prophet ﷺ , we would not learn from the next ten verses that were revealed until we understood what was in them." It was said to a partner in work, and he said, "Yes."
«كُنَّا إِذَا تَعَلَّمْنَا مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَشْرَ آيَاتٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ لَمْ نَتَعَلَّمْ مِنَ الْعَشْرِ الَّذِي نَزَلَتْ بَعْدَهَا حَتَّى نَعْلَمَ مَا فِيهِ» قِيلَ لِشَرِيكٍ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»
"عَنِ ابنِ مَسْعُودِ قَالَ: كُنَّا إِذَا تَعَلَّمْنَا مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَشْرَ آيَاتٍ مِنَ الْقُرآنِ لَم نَتَعَلَّم الْعَشْر الَّتِى بَعْدَهَا حَتَّى نَعْلَمَ مَا فِيهِ، فَقِيل لشريك: من العمل؟ ، قَالَ: نَعَمْ".
