[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands when he stood for prayer until they were level with his shoulders, then he would say takbeer. And when he wanted to bow, he would do the same. And when he raised from the bowing position, he would do the same. He would not do it when he raised his head from prostration.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ لِلصَّلَاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى تَكُونَا حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ وَلَا يَفْعَلُهُ حِينَ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ السُّجُودِ
