[Machine] He saw Malik ibn al-Huwayrith, when he prayed, he would say the takbir, then he would raise his hands. When he intended to bow, he would raise his hands. And when he raised his head from the bowing position, he would raise his hands. And it is reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do this.  

البيهقي:٢٣١٥أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَا ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أنبأ خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ خَالِدٍ يَعْنِي الْحَذَّاءَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ

أَنَّهُ رَأَى مَالِكَ بْنَ الْحُوَيْرِثِ إِذَا صَلَّى كَبَّرَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَحَدَّثَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ هَذَا  

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى وَرَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ شَاهِينٍ الْوَاسِطِيِّ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَقَالَ إِذَا صَلَّى كَبَّرَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَرِوَايَةُ مَنْ دَلَّتْ رِوَايَتُهُ عَلَى الرَّفْعِ مَعَ التَّكْبِيرِ أَثْبَتُ وَأَكْثَرُ فَهِيَ أَوْلَى بِالِاتِّبَاعِ وَبِاللهِ التَّوْفِيقُ
