[Machine] Ibn Umar used to say: The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to raise his hands when he stood up for prayer until they were level with his shoulders, then he would say "Allahu Akbar" and recite the Hadith.
أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى تَكُونَا حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ
This hadith has been transmitted with the same chain of transmitters by al. Zuhri as narrated by Ibn Juraij (who) said. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up for prayer, he raised hands (to the height) apposite the shoulders and then recited takbir.
