البيهقي:٢١١٢٢أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ مَطَرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ صَحِبْتُ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ مِنَ الْبَصْرَةِ إِلَى مَكَّةَ وَكَانَ يُنْشِدُنِي كُلَّ يَوْمٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ

لِي إِنَّ الشِّعْرَ كَلَامٌ وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْكَلَامِ حَقًّا وَبَاطِلًا
