[Machine] His grandfather was Umayr ibn Habib, and he had already pledged allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ . He advised his sons, saying, "O my sons, beware of associating with fools, for their companionship is a disease. Whoever is patient with them will be pleased with his patience, and whoever responds to them will regret it. And whoever does not agree with a little of what the fool brings, will agree with much. And when any of you wants to command good and forbid evil, let him strengthen himself before that against harm, and let him have certainty in the reward from Allah. For whoever has certainty in the reward from Allah, will not feel the harm."

[Machine] His grandfather was 'Umayr ibn Habib ibn Khumashah. He pledged allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ in a dream and advised his son, saying, "Beware of keeping company with foolish people, as their company is a disease. Whoever avoids being deluded by foolish people will be content with his patience, and whoever loves them will regret it. Whoever does not accept a small harm from a fool will accept a great harm. Whoever endures what he dislikes will attain what he loves. And when one of you wants to command good or prohibit evil, let him be patient in the face of harm and have faith in the reward from Allah, for whoever has faith in the reward from Allah will not be affected by harm."

[Machine] "O my children, beware of associating with the foolish, for their companionship is a disease. Whoever dreams about a fool does not see with his dream. And whoever does not escape from a little harm caused by a fool, will eventually have to escape from a major harm. And whoever endures what he dislikes will attain what he loves. And when one of you intends to enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil upon people, let him prepare himself for enduring harm, and let him be certain of the reward from Allah. For indeed, whoever has confidence in the reward from Allah will not feel the affliction."
