[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever equips a warrior in the cause of Allah has indeed participated in the battle, and whoever remains behind to take care of his family has also participated in the battle." This is the wording of the hadith of Abd al-Warith and a similar hadith of Ru'h, except that he (the Prophet) said regarding it, "narrated by 'an'" direction.  

البيهقي:١٧٨٤١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْمُزَكِّي أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْقَاضِي بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ثنا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي الْحَجَّاجِ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ ثنا يَحْيَى ثنا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنِي بُسْرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ ؓ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ وَحَدِيثُ رَوْحٍ مِثْلُهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ عَنْ عَنْ  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زُرَيْعٍ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ
