البيهقي:١٧٢٢١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ شَرِيكُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْإِسْفِرَايِينِيُّ بِهَا ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْإِسْفِرَايِينِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ الشَّامِيِّ وَكَانَ طَارِقٌ اسْتَخْلَفَهُ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَأُتِيَ بِسَارِقٍ فَعَاقَبَهُ فَاعْتَرَفَ بِالسَّرِقَةِ فَبَعَثَ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ يَسْأَلُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ

لَا تَقْطَعْ يَدَهُ حَتَّى يُخْرِجَ السَّرِقَةَ
