[Machine] The son of Abbas, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "The saying of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is more deserving to be followed than the saying of Umar."  

البيهقي:١٦٢٨٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُنْقِذٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ أَنَّ مُوسَى بْنَ سَعْدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي غَطَفَانَ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي الْأَصَابِعِ عَشْرٌ عَشْرٌ فَأَرْسَلَ مَرْوَانُ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ أَتَفْتِي فِي الْأَصَابِعِ عَشْرٌ عَشْرٌ وَقَدْ بَلَغَكَ عَنْ عُمَرَ ؓ فِي الْأَصَابِعِ؟ فَقَالَ

ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَحِمَ اللهُ عُمَرَ قَوْلُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَحَقُّ أَنْ يُتَّبَعَ مِنْ قَوْلِ عُمَرَ ؓ
