[Machine] It is from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that there are ten fingers on that hand. Sa'eed said, "So the fingers became ten."  

البيهقي:١٦٢٨٦ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ أنبأ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ أنبأ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ قَضَى عُمَرُ ؓ فِي الْأَصَابِعِ فِي الْإِبْهَامِ بِثَلَاثَةَ عَشَرَ وَفِي الَّتِي تَلِيهَا بِاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ وَفِي الْوُسْطَى بِعَشَرَةٍ وَفِي الَّتِي تَلِيهَا بِتِسْعٍ وَفِي الْخِنْصَرِ بِسِتٍّ حَتَّى وُجِدَ كِتَابٌ عِنْدَ آلِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ

أَنَّهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَفِيمَا هُنَالِكَ مِنَ الْأَصَابِعِ عَشْرٌ عَشْرٌ قَالَ سَعِيدٌ فَصَارَتِ الْأَصَابِعُ إِلَى عَشْرٍ عَشْرٍ
