[Machine] Ali said about the error: "One-fourth is a mistake, twenty-five are baseless, twenty-five are Laboon's daughters, and twenty-five are Makhaadh's daughters. 16153." Abu Abdul Rahman As-Sulami and Abu Bakr bin Al-Harith Al-Faqih narrated to us, they said: Ali bin Omar Al-Hafiz informed us, narrating from Al-Husayn bin Ismail, who narrated from Al-Abbas bin Yazid, who narrated from Wakee', who narrated from Sufyan, who narrated from Abu Ishaq, who narrated from Aasim bin Damarah, who narrated from Ali, that he used to say "the ransom for the error is one-fourth," and he mentioned it in this manner.  

قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ فِي الْخَطَأِ أَرْبَاعًا خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ حِقَّةً وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ جَذَعَةً وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتُ لَبُونٍ وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتُ مَخَاضٍ 16153 وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ قَالَا أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ثنا وَكِيعٌ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ الدِّيَةُ فِي الْخَطَأِ أَرْبَاعًا فَذَكَرَهَا بِنَحْوِهِ
