[Machine] Women are required to wait for forty days after childbirth, and then they should cleanse themselves. There are narrations that have been reported during this period, all of them except for what we mentioned are weak. Some narrators of hadith have accepted the narrations we mentioned.  

البيهقي:١٦١١وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ أنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ أَبِي حُرَّةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ الثَّقَفِيِّ قَالَ

تَنْتَظِرُ النُّفَسَاءُ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلُ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ فِيهَا أَحَادِيثُ مَرْفُوعَةٌ كُلُّهَا سِوَى مَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ ضَعِيفَةٌ وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ إِلَى مَا رُوِّينَا بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ الْحَدِيثِ
