[Machine] Forty days, then she washes herself and some of them have gone to carry what has been narrated in it according to their customs. And that others, if they see more than that, they stay until they do not exceed sixty days, starting from existence.  

البيهقي:١٦١٢أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ سُئِلَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنِ النُّفَسَاءِ كَمْ تَقْعُدُ إِذَا رَأَتِ الدَّمَ قَالَ

أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلُ وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى حَمْلِ مَا رُوِّينَا فِيهَا عَلَى عَادَتِهِنَّ وَأَنَّ غَيْرَهُنَّ إِنْ رَأَيْنَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ مَكَثْنَ مَا لَمْ يُجَاوِزْ سِتِّينَ يَوْمًا اعْتِبَارًا بِالْوُجُودِ
