[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me while there was a man sitting with me, and it became difficult for him. I saw anger on his face, so I said, "O Messenger of Allah, he is my brother through breastfeeding." He said, "Look at your sisters through breastfeeding, for breastfeeding is only from hunger."

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَعِنْدِي رَجُلٌ قَاعِدٌ فَاشْتَدَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ وَرَأَيْتُ الْغَضَبَ فِي وَجْهِهِ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ قَالَ انْظُرْنَ إِخْوَانَكُنَّ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ فَإِنَّمَا الرَّضَاعَةُ مِنَ الْمَجَاعَةِ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited me when a man was sitting near me, and he seemed to disapprove of that. And I saw signs of anger on his face and I said: Messenger of Allah, he is my brother by forsterage, whereupon he said: Consider who your brothers are because of fosterage since fosterage is through hunger (i. e. in infancy).

"Aishah said: 'The Messenger of Allah entered upon me and there was a man sitting with me. He got upset about that, and I saw the anger in his face.' He said: "Be careful who you count as your brothers" --or: "be careful who you count as your brothers through breast-feeding"-- "for the breast-feeding (which makes marriage prohibited) is from hunger."

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ entered upon me and there was a man with me, so he said, "O Aisha, who is this?" So I said, "My brother through breastfeeding.” Then he said, "O Aisha, consider who your brothers are, for breastfeeding is only from hunger."
