[Machine] He divorced his wife while she was menstruating, so Umar went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him about that. The Prophet ﷺ made it count as a single divorce. Al-Bukhari said, and Abu Ma'mar narrated to us from Ayyub, from Sa'eed ibn Jubair, from Ibn Umar, who said: "I was considered to have divorced her with one divorce."  

البيهقي:١٤٩٢٨أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ نا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ نا أَبُو دَاوُدَ نا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ

أَنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَأَتَى عُمَرُ ؓ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَجَعَلَهَا وَاحِدَةً قَالَ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَقَالَ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ نا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَيُّوبُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ حُسِبَتْ عَلَيَّ بِتَطْلِيقَةٍ
