[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , came to me while I was covered with a shawl that had images on it. When he saw it, his face changed color and he tore it with his hand. He said, "Those who imitate the creation of Allah will receive the severest punishment on the Day of Resurrection."  

البيهقي:١٤٥٥٦حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَدِ اسْتَتَرْتُ بِقِرَامٍ فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ تَلَوَّنَ وَجْهُهُ وَهَتَكَهُ بِيَدِهِ وَقَالَ أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَذَابًا الَّذِينَ يُشَبِّهُونَ بِخَلْقِ اللهِ

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَدِ اسْتَتَرْتُ بِقِرَامٍ فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ تَلَوَّنَ وَجْهُهُ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً تَغَيَّرَ وَجْهُهُ وَهَتَكَهُ بِيَدِهِ وَقَالَ أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا عِنْدَ اللهِ ﷻ يَوْمَالْقِيَامَةِ الَّذِينَ يُضَاهُونَ بِخَلْقِ اللهِ جَلَّ وَعَزَّ أَوْ يُشَبِّهُونَ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ سَوَاءٌ  

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الْمُصَوِّرِينَ يَكُونُونَ فِي الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ أَشَدِّ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ عَذَابًا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon her while she was covered with a curtain that had statues on it. The face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ changed color and he turned away from the curtain, tearing it with his hand. Then he said, "Indeed, the severest punishment on the Day of Resurrection will be for those who create images resembling the creation of Allah."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَهِيَ مُسْتَتِرَةٌ بِقِرَامٍ فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ فَتَلَوَّنَ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَهْوَى إِلَى الْقِرَامِ فَهَتَكَهُ بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الَّذِينَ يُشَبِّهُونَ بِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ»

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ has returned from a journey and I had covered the idols I had in sahwa (a place to rest) with a cloth. When he saw them, he tore them apart and said, "The severest punishment on the Day of Judgment will be for those who try to imitate the creation of Allah." She (the narrator) said, "So we cut it into pieces and made cushions or two cushions from it."

ؓ تَقُولُ قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ سَفَرٍ وَقَدْ سَتَرْتُ بِقِرَامٍ عَلَى سَهْوَةٍ لِي فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ هَتَكَهُ وَقَالَ إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الَّذِينَ يُضَاهُونَ بِخَلْقِ اللهِ قَالَتْ فَقَطَعْنَاهُ فَجَعَلْنَا مِنْهُ وِسَادَةً أَوْ وِسَادَتَيْنِ
