[Machine] "In the two enslaved sisters, one verse made them permissible and another verse made them forbidden. So, I do not command or prohibit, nor do I permit or forbid. I neither do it, nor does my household."

البيهقي:١٣٩٣٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو قَطَنٍ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي عَوْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَالَ

فِي الْأُخْتَيْنِ الْمَمْلُوكَتَيْنِ أَحَلَّتْهُمَا آيَةٌ وَحَرَّمَتْهُمَا آيَةٌ فَلَا آمُرُ وَلَا أَنْهَى وَلَا أُحِلُّ وَلَا أُحَرِّمُ وَلَا أَفْعَلُهُ أَنَا وَلَا أَهْلُ بَيْتِي

" عن أبى صالح قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِىٌّ: سَلُوني فَإِنَّكُمْ لاَ تَسْألُونَ مِثْلِى، وَلَنْ تَسْألوا مِثْلِى، فَقَالَ ابْنُ الكَوَّاءِ: أَخْبِرْنا عَنِ الأُختَيْنِ المَمْلُوكتَيْنِ فَقَالَ: أَحَلَّتْهُمَا آيَةٌ وَحَرَّمَتْهُمَا آيَة، وَلاَ آمُرُ وَلاَ أَنْهَى عَنْهُ، وَلاَ أَفْعَلُهُ أَنَا وَلاَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِى، وَلاَ أُحِلُّهُ وَلاَ أُحَرِّمُهُ ".
