bayhaqi:11884 – Abū Ṭāhir al-Faqīh > Abū Bakr Muḥammad b. al-Ḥusayn al-Qaṭṭān > Ibrāhīm b. al-Ḥārith > Yaḥyá b. Abū Bukayr > Zuhayr b. Muḥammad > ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad b. ʿAqīl > Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Indeed, so-and-so has a green plant in my wall, and it has caused me harm and has invaded my space. So, the Prophet ﷺ sent a message to him and said, 'Sell me your green plant that is in the wall of so-and-so.' He refused. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Bring it to me and sell it to me.' He refused. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'By selling it, I mean exchanging it for a green plant in Paradise.' He refused. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, 'I have not seen anyone more stingy than you, except the one who is stingy with the greeting of peace.'"  

البيهقي:١١٨٨٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَطَّانُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ لِفُلَانٍ فِي حَائِطِي عَذْقًا وَقَدْ آذَانِي وَشَقَّ عَلَيَّ مَكَانُ عَذْقِهِ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ بِعْنِي عَذْقَكَ الَّذِي فِي حَائِطِ فُلَانٍ قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَهَبْهُ لِي قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَبِعْنِيهِ بِعَذْقٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ لَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا رَأَيْتُ أَبْخَلَ مِنْكَ إِلَّا الَّذِي يَبْخَلُ بِالسَّلَامِ

[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Indeed, so-and-so has a date palm tree in my wall, and he is withholding it from me. He has also harmed me by blocking the place where it bears fruit." So, the Prophet ﷺ sent for him, and said, "Give him his date palm tree that is in your wall." He replied, "No." The Prophet ﷺ then said, "Sell it to him with another date palm tree in Paradise." Again, he refused. The Prophet ﷺ then said, "There is no one more miserly than you, except for the one who withholds greetings of peace."  

أحمد:١٤٥١٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ لِفُلَانٍ فِي حَائِطِي عَذْقًا وَإِنَّهُ قَدْ آذَانِي وَشَقَّ عَلَيَّ مَكَانُ عَذْقِهِ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ بِعْنِي عَذْقَكَ الَّذِي فِي حَائِطِ فُلَانٍ قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَهَبْهُ لِي قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَبِعْنِيهِ بِعَذْقٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ لَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَا رَأَيْتُ الَّذِي هُوَ أَبْخَلُ مِنْكَ إِلَّا الَّذِي يَبْخَلُ بِالسَّلَامِ

[Machine] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Indeed, so-and-so has a date palm tree in my wall, and it annoys me and harms me in its place in my wall." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a message to him and said, "Sell it to me, your date palm tree that is in so-and-so's wall." He said, "No." He said, "Give it to me." He said, "No." He said, "Then exchange it with a date palm tree in Jannah (Paradise)." He said, "No." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have not seen anyone more stingy than you who withholds saying salaam (greeting of peace)."  

الحاكم:٢١٩٥ – أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الْعَدْلُ بِمَرْوَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى الْقَاضِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ النَّهْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ
