[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ sent a companion with camels and commanded him that if any of them become sick, he should sacrifice it, dip its shoe in its blood, strike its cheek with it, and prohibit himself and his companions from eating from it, and to distribute it among the people.  

البيهقي:١٠٢٥١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ هُوَ الْأَصَمُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ثنا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ أَنَّ ذُؤَيْبًا الْخُزَاعِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَعَثَ مَعَهُ بِالْبُدْنِ وَأَمَرَهُ إِنْ عَطِبَ مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ أَنْ يَنْحَرَهَا وَأَنْ يَغْمِسَ نَعْلَهَا فِي دَمِهَا وَيَضْرِبَ بِهِ صَفْحَتَهَا وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ لَا يَطْعَمَ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا وَلَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ رُفْقَتِهِ وَأَنْ يَقْسِمَهَا  

أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ دُونَ قَوْلِهِ وَأَنْ يَقْسِمَهَا

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to send with him the sacrifice and then he would say: "If something is wrong with her (the sacrifice), then I fear her death, so slaughter her, then dip her sandals in her blood, then hit her with it (the sandals), and do not feed her, neither you nor anyone from your companions."

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَبْعَثُ مَعَهُ بِالْبُدْنِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ إِنْ عَطِبَ مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ فَخَشِيتَ عَلَيْهَا مَوْتًا فَانْحَرْهَا ثُمَّ اغْمِسْ نَعْلَهَا فِي دَمِهَا ثُمَّ اضْرِبْ بِهِ صَفْحَتَهَا وَلَا تَطْعَمْهَا أَنْتَ وَلَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ رِفْقَتِكَ
