[Machine] I traveled through those waters for six or seven months until I arrived at the house of Abu Al-Ala Yazeed bin Abdullah bin Al-Shakheer, who is one of the trustworthy people from Basra.  

البيهقي:١٠٠٩٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دَرَسْتَوَيْهِ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ثنا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ مُعْتَمِرًا حَتَّى إِذَا كُنْتُ بِالدُّثَيْنَةِ وَقَعْتُ عَنْ رَاحِلَتِي فَكُسِرْتُ فَبَعَثْتُ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَسُئِلَا فَقَالَا لَيْسَ لَهُ وَقْتٌ كَوَقْتِ الْحَجِّ يَكُونُ عَلَى إِحْرَامِهِ حَتَّى يَصِلَ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ قَالَ

فَتَنَقَّلْتُ تِلْكَ الْمِيَاهَ سِتَّةَ أَشْهُرٍ أَوْ سَبْعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ حَتَّى وَصَلْتُ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ هُوَ أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ مِنْ ثِقَاتِ الْبَصْرِيِّينَ
