[Machine] It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about the newborn?" He said, "Allah knows best about what they have done."  

أحمد:٩٩٩١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِعَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَالْمَوْلُودُ؟ قَالَ اللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ

quran:26:112 –

He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do?  

He said, ‘And what do I know of what they may have been doing?
القرآن:٢٦:١١٢ –

قَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِي بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ  

{قال وما علمي} أيّ علم لي {بما كانوا يعلمون}.
bukhari:6597 – Muḥammad b. Bashhār > Ghundar > Shuʿbah > Abū Bishr > Saʿīd b. Jubayr > Ibn ʿAbbās

The Prophet ﷺ ; was asked about the offspring of the pagans. He said, "Allah knows what they would have done (were they to live).  

البخاري:٦٥٩٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ أَوْلاَدِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ  

muslim:2661 – Yaḥyá b. Yaḥyá > Abū ʿAwānah > Abū Bishr > Saʿīd b. Jubayr > Ibn ʿAbbās

It is Allah alone Who knows what they would be doing according to their creation.  

مسلم:٢٦٦١ – وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَطْفَالِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ إِذْ خَلَقَهُمْ  

nasai:1949 – Isḥāq > Sufyān > al-Zuhrī > ʿAṭāʾ b. Yazīd al-Laythī > Abū Hurayrah

"The Messenger of Allah was asked about the children of the idolators and he said: 'Allah knows best what they would have done."'  

النسائي:١٩٤٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَوْلاَدِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ  

ahmad:10084 – Yaḥyá > Muḥammad b. ʿAmr > Abū Salamah > Abū Hurayrah

Allah knows best about what they were doing. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4711)  

أحمد:١٠٠٨٤ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنْ أَطْفَالِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَقَالَ اللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ
