[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, there were people from previous nations who would receive divine revelations. And if there is anyone among my Ummah (nation) who receives such revelations, it would be Umar ibn Al-Khattab."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّهُ قَدْ كَانَ فِيمَا مَضَى قَبْلَكُمْ مِنَ الْأُمَمِ نَاسٌ يُحَدَّثُونَ وَإِنَّهُ إِنْ كَانَ فِي أُمَّتِي هَذِهِ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ فَإِنَّهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Amongst the people preceding you there used to be 'Muhaddithun' (i.e. persons who can guess things that come true later on, as if those persons have been inspired by a divine power), and if there are any such persons amongst my followers, it is ʿUmar bin Al-Khattab."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّهُ قَدْ كَانَ فِيمَا مَضَى قَبْلَكُمْ مِنَ الأُمَمِ مُحَدَّثُونَ وَإِنَّهُ إِنْ كَانَ فِي أُمَّتِي هَذِهِ مِنْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ
There had been among the people before you inspired persons (those spoken to) and if there were any such among my Ummah Umar b. Khattab would be one of them.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ قَدْ كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي الأُمَمِ قَبْلَكُمْ مُحَدَّثُونَ فَإِنْ يَكُنْ فِي أُمَّتِي مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ فَإِنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ مِنْهُمْ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There were people among the nations that came before you who would receive divine revelations. If there is anyone among my nation who receives such revelations, it would be Umar ibn Al-Khattab."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «قَدْ كَانَ فِيمَا خَلَا قِبَلَكُمْ مِنَ الْأُمَمِ نَاسٌ يُحَدِّثُونَ فَإِنْ يَكُنْ فِي أُمَّتِي هَذِهِ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ فَعُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ»
"قدْ كان يَكُونُ فِي الأُمَمِ قَبْلكُمْ مُحَدِّثُونَ، فَإِنْ يَكُنْ فِي أُمَّتِي مِنْهُم أحَدٌ فَعُمَرُ بْنُ الخَطَّاب مِنْهُم".
"قَدْ كانَ فيمَا مَضَى قَبْلَكمْ مِن الأُمَم أُنَاسٌ مُحَدِّثُونَ، فَإِنْ يَكُنْ فِي أُمَّتِي مِنْهُم أحَدٌ فَإِنَّهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ الخَطَّاب".
