The Prophet ﷺ said, "The effect of an evil eye is a fact." And he prohibited tattooing. (Using translation from Bukhārī 5740)
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ وَنَهَى عَنِ الْوَشْمِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ وَنَهَى عَنِ الْوَشْمِ
"The Messenger of Allah forbade Al-Haql (renting land in return for one-third or one-quarter of the produce)."
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْحَقْلِ
