ahmad:663 – Khalaf > Khālid > Muṭarrif > Abū Isḥāq > al-Ḥārith > ʿAlī

It was narrated from ‘Ali ؓ that The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade raising the voice when reciting Qurʿan before or after Ishaʿ and causing others to make mistakes in recitation when praying.  

أحمد:٦٦٣ – حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يَرْفَعَ الرَّجُلُ صَوْتَهُ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ قَبْلَ الْعِشَاءِ وَبَعْدَهَا يُغَلِّطُ أَصْحَابَهُ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ
