[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Abdul Razzaq reported that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'May Allah illuminate a person who hears a Hadith from us and memorizes it until he conveys it (to others). For often the recipient has a better memory than the listener.'"  

أحمد:٤١٥٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ نَضَّرَ اللهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَحَفِظَهُ حَتَّى يُبَلِّغَهُ فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَحْفَظُ لَهُ مِنْ سَامِعٍ

"I heard 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud narrating from his father who said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'May Allah gladden a man who hears something from us, so he conveys it as he heard it. Perhaps the one it is conveyed to is more understanding than the one who heard it.'"  

الترمذي:٢٦٥٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا شَيْئًا فَبَلَّغَهُ كَمَا سَمِعَ فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَوْعَى مِنْ سَامِعٍ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ
ibnmajah:232 – Muḥammad b. Bashhār And Muḥammad b. al-Walīd > Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar > Shuʿbah > Simāk > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. ʿAbdullāh from his father

The Prophet said: "May Allah cause his face to shine, the man who hears a Hadith from us and conveys it, for perhaps the one to whom it is conveyed may remember it better than the one who (first) hears it."  

ابن ماجة:٢٣٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَبَلَّغَهُ فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَحْفَظُ مِنْ سَامِعٍ  

darimi:236 – Yaḥyá b. Mūsá > ʿAmr b. Muḥammad al-Qurashī > Isrāʾīl > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Zubayd al-Yāmī > Abū al-ʿAjlān > Abū al-Dardāʾ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a speech and said, "May Allah bless the person who hears a narration from us and conveys it as he heard it, for perhaps the conveyer understands it better than the listener."  

الدارمي:٢٣٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ أَنبَأَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زُبَيْدٍ الْيَامِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَجْلَانِ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرءًا سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَبَلَّغَهُ كَمَا سَمِعَهُ فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَوْعَى مِنْ سَامِعٍ»  

ذِكْرُ دُعَاءِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ لِمَنْ أَدَّى مِنْ أُمَّتِهِ حَدِيثًا سَمِعَهُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah brighten the face of the individual who hears something from us and conveys it exactly as he heard it. There are times when the one who conveys something is more mindful of it than the one who hears it."  

ابن حبّان:٦٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَبَلَّغَهُ كَمَا سَمِعَهُ فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَوْعَى مِنْ سَامِعٍ»  

ذِكْرُ إِثْبَاتِ نَضَارَةِ الْوَجْهِ فِي الْقِيَامَةِ مَنْ بَلَّغَ لِلْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ سُنَّةً صَحِيحَةً، كَمَا سَمِعَهَا

ibnhibban:69 – Ibn Khuzaymah > Muḥammad b. ʿUthmān al-ʿIjlī > ʿUbaydullāh b. Mūsá > Isrāʾīl > Simāk > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. ʿAbdullāh b. Masʿūd from his father
