[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever hears a statement from a person that he does not wish to be mentioned from him, then it is a trust, even if he does not conceal it."  

أحمد:٢٧٥٠٩حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْوَصَّافِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ سَمِعَ مِنْ رَجُلٍ حَدِيثًا لَا يَشْتَهِي أَنْ يُذْكَرَ عَنْهُ فَهُوَ أَمَانَةٌ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَكْتِمْهُ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever narrates a statement that he does not want to be spread, then it is a trust, even if its owner does not keep it confidential."  

الطبراني:١٤٠٥٨حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ الْوَصَّافِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ جَالِسًا فَتَكَلَّمَ بِكَلِمَةٍ فَسَمِعَهُ رَجُلٌ لَمْ يُحِبَّ أَنْ يَسْمَعَهُ فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَى أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ فَقَالَ أَنَا

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ حَدَّثَ حَدِيثًا لَا يُحِبُّ أَنْ يُفْشَا عَلَيْهِ فَهُوَ أَمَانَةٌ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَكْتِمْهُ صَاحِبُهُ»
