[Machine] From Asmaa bint Abi Bakr, who used to count, and from Abbade ibn Hamzah, from Asmaa bint Abi Bakr, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her: "Spend, or sacrifice, or give charity like this and like that, and do not keep track so that it is kept track of against you, and do not count so that Allah counts against you."  

أحمد:٢٦٩٣٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ

عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَكَانَتْ مُحْصِيَةً وَعَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا أَنْفِقِي أَوْ انْضَحِي أَوْ انْفَحِي هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعَى عَلَيْكِ وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ

[Machine] On the authority of Asmaa bint Abi Bakr, who used to work as a scribe, and on the authority of Abbād ibn Hamzah, who narrated from Asmaa, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her: "Spend (in charity), sacrifice (an animal for Allah), or give freely in abundance, in this manner and that manner, without calculating or counting meticulously, for Allah will certainly provide for you. And do not hold back, lest Allah holds back His blessings from you."  

أحمد:٢٦٩٩١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ

عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَكَانَتْ مُحْصِيَةً وَعَنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا أَنْفِقِي أَوْ انْضَحِي أَوْ انْفَحِي هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِي اللهُ عَلَيْكِ  

ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ أَنْ يُوعِيَ الْمَرْءُ بَعْضَ مَالِهِ إِذِ اللَّهُ جَلَّ وَعَلَا يُوعِي عَلَى مَنْ جَمَعَ مَالَهُ فَأَوْعَى

ibnhibban:3209 – ʿUmar b. Muḥammad al-Hamdānī > ʿUbayd b. Ismāʿīl > Abū Usāmah > Hishām b. ʿUrwah > ʿAbbād b. ʿAbdullāh b. al-Zubayr And Fāṭimah b. al-Mundhir

[Machine] About Asma bint Abi Bakr, whenever she spent something, she would tally it. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Spend and do not tally, for Allah will tally for you. Do not withhold, for Allah will withhold from you."  

ابن حبّان:٣٢٠٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَفَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ

عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَكَانَتْ إِذَا أَنْفَقَتْ شَيْئًا تُحْصِي فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَنْفِقِي وَلَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ وَلَا تُوعِي فَيُوعِيَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكِ»
