[Machine] A woman entered upon Aisha, the wife of Uthman bin Mazh'un, and I think her name was Khawla bint Hakeem. She spoke to Aisha, who was wearing a plain garment, and I asked her, "What is your problem?" She said, "My husband stays awake at night and fasts during the day." Then the Prophet ﷺ entered, and Aisha mentioned this to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ met Uthman and said, "O Uthman, monasticism has not been prescribed for us. So what is the matter with you? By Allah, I fear Allah more than you do, and I observe His limits more than you do."
