[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When the sins of a slave increase and he does not have any deeds to expiate them, Allah ﷻ afflicts him with sadness to expiate them for him."  

أحمد:٢٥٢٣٦ – حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَثُرَتْ ذُنُوبُ الْعَبْدِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَا يُكَفِّرُهَا مِنَ الْعَمَلِ ابْتَلَاهُ اللهُ ﷻ بِالْحُزْنِ لِيُكَفِّرَهَا عَنْهُ
